i am now on turbo ferry to liberty island macau.
the trip will require showing of id, and the forms in 3 languages, so that we are able to exercise freedom and fill same in whatever language we know best - very civilized, and impinging on none
i too have not had feel that my government, what there is of it, ever impinged on my freedom
nor do i consider my wife a scourge
<<I have the RIGHT to own firearms. Do you?>>
the bit of nonsense about guns is just that, as your freedom, or rather more accurately, right to bear arms, impacts the freedom of others around you to feel safer
further, as many times, you confuse rights with freedom, demonstrating clearly that you have lost the natural understanding of what freedom is
but, as it may, should i wish to bear arms, i am at the liberty to buy whatever national documents available for sale (most are), and do the deed there, while still keeping my birthright. you, otoh, cannot exercise that freedom with the same outcome
<,two official languages>>
buzzer. it is not that two official languages are preferred over one, but that our laws are clear, minimalist, and works for all, rich and poor, bar none, in a very civilized manner
<<religion>>
...i have freedom of faith, and to boot, i am not bothered by folks wishing to imposed their faith on me ... no supreme court need to arbitrate, because the issue of contention never arises, given our system, judged to be superior, and recognized by all except a few, amongst the knowledgeable, as in those likely to read more
<<You see TJ with out these freedoms economic freedom is worthless because with the whim of a government that does not give these freedoms, your economic freedom can disappear in an instant.>>
you are wrong, how else does hk remain 12 years #1 if our system does not inherently guard our freedoms, 9 slots ahead of where you are?
<< Why are you required to show ID to travel to other parts of the PRC if you have these great freedoms?>>
... which part of the one country two systems scheme do you not understand?
