Hawkmoon is supposedly in Iraq fighting to fill his bank account. I think it's just as likely he's behind his sofa in Cleveland looking out for 'islamo fascists' hiding behind the TV. Hawk's cat is alarmed.

I believe the economic activity he's yammering about is the drug running, kidnapping, general mayhem, lack of electricity and importing of oil going on. Iraqis are building many cement blocks to prevent suicide attackers.

Meanwhile, the US' reconstruction funds have, unfortunately, dried up. Since every man, woman and child in the US of A owes something like $30,000 in national debt, I can imagine our funds are indeed rather dried up about now.
