Freegold Ventures (ITF.TO) -- I had bought some of this stock awhile back, based mostly on the abilities of the new president they hired. They just made an announcement regarding some work they have done on one of their Alaska plays, see biz.yahoo.com . It sounds pretty good to me, but I know next to nothing about this stuff. Was wondering if any of you folks that are more knowledgeable about these things could give me the Reader's Digest version of this PR. Also, I realize that I need to either learn a lot more about the gold mining business or just find a good mutual fund and/or broker to run some money for me. Does anybody have any suggestions in this regard? I tend to prefer investing in the small caps or even microcaps vs. the large cap companies.
