Xiaowen: I agree with your conclusion but do not forget VTEL's desktop systems. I just turned up my VTEL 384Kbs smart station (about$5,000 for the cards, software and camera, PC is extra) and it works great. I don't know what the market is for these units ( mine is for a research project) but the image is outstanding and, it's pretty easy to use. Ken G
