This is a movie from 2000 - from Iran. It's a very good movie in its own right, but it also gives you a fascinating peek at what the upper class in Iran is probably like. I found it especially interesting to hear the occasional references to people just disappearing (after being hauled in by the police). I really recommend this movie- it is obviously written by a literate sensitive man, and I suspect that it is a fairly good look at the surface of Iranian society, and also glimpse of the personal life, of one artistic Iranian man. reel.com
