NEWS: Microsoft, Explorer 3.0 -3-: Has Yahoo! Autosearch Feature Microsoft Corp. said Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) will be the default provider of Web site search results for Microsoft's new Autosearch feature available in Explorer 3.0. Users will be able to type in a search word directly on the address line and will in turn receive a page of Yahoo! search results. Yahoo! will distribute a customized Yahoo! version of the browser on its main Web site. In a separate release, Citrix Systems Inc. (CTXS) unveiled its WinFrame web client for Explorer 3.0. The WinFrame web client will be included as a component of Explorer 3.0 and will enable users to run 16- and 32-bit Windows applications embedded in or linked to HTML Web pages. The WinFrame web client is an ActiveX control. Software Publishing Corp. (SPCO) said its ASAP WebShow for Explorer 3.0 is available. ASAP WebShow is a viewer for presentations that are created with the company's ASAP WordPower presentation software. Cornerstone Imaging Inc. (CRNR) unveiled Isis EZ-Imaging for Explorer 3.0, which provides Internet application developers with the capability to scan, enhance, view, compress, and print paper-based documents.
