From Procept's Shareholder Letter dated 25 August 1997 August 13, 1997 - Procept initiated a drug discovery collaboration with Abbott Laboratories. Procept and Abbott have combined Procept's immunology and structure-based drug discovery capabilitities with Abbott's NMR-based compound screening tools. This program is an important new pharmaceutical alliance for Procept. Success in the initial compound discovery phase could lead to a major drug development program between the two companies.
