Well, they better start raising cap ex substantially if they continue to fall short of demand. The excessive caution being shown by most US based companies is approaching (bordering on) plain old stupidity. It seems these companies, INTC especially, are becoming sloths. They want to toot their own horns about 21% eps growth yoy when it could have been much greater. Another missed step.

I'm sure the market will overreact to the downside but INTC does deserve to be taken out back and severely whipped, imo. Whether or not the SCE should be flogged won't matter. I would guess it will be more of the same we've been hearing lately...end of the cycle, top is, no where to go but down.

BS but that's what's going to sell newspapers the next few days, if I had to guess.
