A reply to my own message. GLD received a delivery of a bit less than 1 ton. Thought more would get delivered prior to realizing that predictive nature of any premium might get weakened given three day market close. 13 Jan 2006 9,169,253.01 285.19 5,026,247,923.03 17 Jan 2006 9,199,114.29 286.12 5,088,392,776.96 My post are being made to document what I think are the predictive "power" of the premium of GLD shares to result in a delivery of gold to the ETF for new shares to cover those sold short to capture the small premium by participant broker/dealers.
