I note how little if anything is ever stated in articles of this type about the potential that exists for WiMAX in the commercial sector, namely, enterprise markets, whether small or large. Many businesses depend on both mobile and fixed wireless applications in their daily undertakings, with some of them using make-shift arrangements with cellular, and others jury-rigging landlines, in order to have them do unnatural things when accessing temporary remote sites. The construction industry, for one, could benefit where, say, the main office is tracking progress and architectural compliance issues, while distributing AutoCAD drawings and mechanical specifications to scores of temporary sites over a five or ten mile radius during the course of a day.
