RE: "the situation in the US is amongst the best in the world for women"

Secondly, this statement is false. Have you not been reading my posts and the examples already provided endlessly? You dig them up.

I'll take my first hand experiences around the world over your posts any day. The average woman in the US has a greater level of equality with men than does the average woman in 95% of the world. How's that for bad grammar!

No, you do not compliment sexism.

Hmmm, you've jumped from a female firefighter had to leave a hospital immediately following pregnancy due to a law obviously designed to stop people (both sexes) from cheating on an exam....to sexism?

Sexism would have allowed her to remain in the hospital (a smarter law would have excluded the woman from the requirement).

How about the idea that there are probably zero female firefighters in most of the world? That fact, by the way, solves the problem which you are so disgusted by in most of the world. No female firefighers = none get kicked out of the hospital to soon after delivery to take their exam.
