Bush broke the law, pal. Big important laws. Clinton did not. Huge difference.

You stated that Clinton did something illegal. He did not. He followed the laws to a T.

You denied that Bush broke the laws. He did so. The laws speficially call for warrants from FISA as well as notifying congress. Bush did neither to any meaningful degree. In fact, Bush has already admitted this to the nation.

What is Bush's excuse, that congress or the Constitution gave him permission to wiretap Americans without warrants? They did not. That's an outrageous claims. Not a single member of congress intended to give him any such powers and neither did the framers of the Constitution.

Wiretapping without checks and balances puts us on the slippery slope toward totalitarianism. Bush has abused his power and broken very important laws. He must be investigated by a special prosecutor and if found guilty, then impeached.
