For instance the 1967 borders (sorry steve) will be the basis of the borders whether steve or you likes it or not. The sharon wall/fence sets those boundaries with small but not insignificant adjustments, particularly in jerusalem All the Palestians have to do to adjust the final borders is to give up terrorism, and recognize israel and if they do so, they will be negotiating with israel in a heartbeat. If they cant do it, israel will set the border and over the next 20 years defacto will become dejure. The worldwide sympathy for the pals has turned to disgust with their lack of progress since arafat left the scene. The "understanding" if not approval of what sharon has been doing is also quite evident these days as well. The Europeans are changing their tune after their own terror experiences and the futility of the PA. The Pals need the US more than they ever have but they will not get it with Bullshit with the Bush admin. They are expected to behave well.
