I am heartened to hear Al Franken talk about the necessity of 100% publicly funded campaigns. IMO, that's the ONLY way of getting the corruption out of politics and moving forward in any real way.

Otherwise we'll be doing the Abrmaoff-Nixon-Teapot Dome-Scanlon-Cunningham baloney all over again in another decade or so.
