Ahmed, Not our ZE. Great addition today on ZE's website:

THE ULTIMATE CUTTING-EDGE PLEDGE

Have you heard that HDTV is coming? Not sure if the TV you buy today is going to be obsolete after next year? Are you putting off buying a new large-screen TV because of that? If you answered YES to these questions, Zenith wants you to know about The Ultimate Cutting-Edge Pledge.

The fact is, HDTV is coming, but it won't make the TV you buy today
obsolete. We're so sure of this, we designed a simple buyer assurance
program that takes the fear out of buying a TV. Here's how it works:

Buy any large-screen Zenith TV set (32- to 60-inches) from an authorized dealer between now and the end of 1997, and if you buy a Zenith HDTV set from an authorized dealer anytime before Jan. 1, 2000, we'll buy back the first set.

Any consumer who buys a large-screen Zenith TV before the end of the
year also will receive a coupon for a $100 rebate on a digital converter box, redeemable any time before Jan. 1, 2000. The converter box, planned for release in 1999, translates digital television signals into analog signals for current TV sets.

THE FACTS ON HDTV

People have heard that HDTV is the biggest revolution in television
since the introduction of color 40 years ago. But too many people just
aren't sure what it means for them.

HDTV offers improved picture detail, with five times more resolution
than today's television, a screen that is one-third wider and digital
quality. HDTV also features superior digital six-channel surround sound.

But with these advanced features comes a higher price tag. Zenith and
other manufacturers estimate the first HDTVs are likely to cost as much as $10,000. Digital broadcasting service will roll out slowly, and programming will be limited for many years.

Today's analog TV sets will probably never become obsolete, and at
today's prices, they're an incredible value. Analog broadcasts will
continue at least until 2006, and signals from cable and satellite will continue to work for years after that. And, with a converter box,
viewers can receive digital broadcasts with their analog TVs
indefinitely.

We're sure HDTV won't make today's TV sets any less valuable and, with
the Ultimate Cutting Edge Pledge, we'll assume the risk. Now there's no reason you should put off the large-screen Zenith home theater
experience.

The Ultimate Cutting-Edge Pledge is subject to product availability, and is available only in the U.S. For details, contact your nearest
authorized Zenith dealer, or call us at (847) 391-8752

Thank you Zenith. Now, let's get those dealers moving product.....

Reports from Glenview indicate that Zenith is beating the bushes to find a great CEO. Not an easy task, as Apple Computer can attest.
Also, hear that LGE wants to keep ZE a US brand name. One Zenith response to an inquiry regarding the possibility of LGE buying out the rest of ZE, "Zenith is an USA icon and the only winner would be RCA."
