Well, it was like I was saying.. I don't think the commanders on the ground would have hit three different houses in the region unless they had fairly reliable information that would justify such a high-visibility attack.

I'm sorry for the loss of life amongst civilians and children. But when combatants mingle with civilians civilians, they become legitimate military targets.

And possibly nabbing one of Zawahiri's right hand men is a big feather in our hats.. It sends the message that if you're going to provide aid and comfort to these terrorists, you may find yourself (and your family) paying the ultimate price.

Again, it ain't pretty.. but it's war. And we didn't initiate this war.. THEY DID.

And we're not the ones trying to subjugate an entire region to the whims of a totalitarian Islamo-Fascist theology.
