And you paid good money to do it, and glad to do it. These deer birth control morons don't realize that they could solve their problem by opening up hunting. Those deer are going to die anyway, and their ideas are exceedingly expensive, but totally ineffective.

Had breakfast with an acquaintance yesterday. He was moaning about having to report his kill to the Department of Fish and Wildlife. Seems he had to call in.

"If you are calling to report on Deer 2, press 1"

"If you are calling to report on Elk kill, press 2"

He pressed 1.

What date did you make your kill?

Damn! He has to hang up to go look at his calendar.

Starts over.

What Game Management Unit did you kill the deer in?

Damn! He hangs up, has to figure out which zone it was in.

Dials back up. Goes through the above scenario, plugs in the zone.

If you are calling to report a kill of a whitetail deer, press 1. For blacktail, press 2. For Mule Deer, press 3.

He presses 3.

How many points did the deer have on the left side? Press 1 for 1 point, 2 for two pointsm, etc.

How many points did the deer have on the right side? You get the idea.

Damn! He can't remember. Just better not press a combination that totals less than 4.

Hangs up. Thinks about it.

Starts over.

You don't think they're trying to make it difficult, do you?
