I doubt Russ thought it would hold up this long.
Heinz for sure did not think it would hold up this long.

BTW I do not view these the job reports as being strong.
Losing jobs at GM and gaining jobs at Walmart is not a sign of strength.

Furthermore the most of the good jobs that were created were as a result of housing. There is a serious slowdown in housing but so far it has not affected anyone but "call handlers" at mortgage places.

I read something shocking yesterday. 1 out of every 53 households went bankrupt in 2005. That is simply amazing.

People clearly are struggling to keep up.
A downturn in housing will do this economy in.
