Well no offical story as to why the stock short up!! makes me nervous. Just to keep this thread going, in the August edition of Semiconductor International....there is an article on Damascene which mentions that IBM/Siemens and TRKN have demonstrated a .25u dual damascene metalization scheme with the Forcefill which filled vias with aspect ratios up tp 3.3:1. The article does not say AL or CU, but i'm sure it's AL. looks like they are making some head way in the damascene area which is supposed to be the future process in chip making process. dave
