Shia's top leader said today the insurgency is strong and not subsiding at all. Where your "good news in Iraq" comes from I don't know, but the fact is that this is a quagmire of our own creation and if we stay there we're going to get more of the same for a long-long time. But if we pull out and let the Iraqis take care of themsedlves, maybe the whole thingg will subside.

So why won't Bush agree to pull out? (and some say he will by election day if the GOP is in trouble) Because of Halliburton, arms and oil profits, and because he can use the war as an excuse for anything, by hiding behind the troops as so-called commander in chief. Some commander. He is the worst one this country has ever had bar none. And the most dishonest and corrupt.
