Count it as a blessing (not much noise here)

TXN becomes quality stock with not much speculation. People
probably don't find TXN is easy to talk up/down the price,
though it will do (up/down) on its own from time to time.

Mortgage everything into TXN (don't do it!! unless you are
a gambler). TXN is on its way to prosperity. But high-tech
stock do have 'news' for whatever reason to make it up/down.

But I think the DSP's competition is simply insignificant.
Not that nobody else can make DSP (eg. ADI, Lucent). It is TI's manufacturing, ASCI integration and customer involvement in
making the value-added products that make all the money.

Many people make and sell cars and they all make money, to certain
degree. Some just make more. I think TXN is the one for DSP.

Memory is almost a 'side-kick' for TI the way those joint-ventures
are structured.

Good investing!!!
