EKWAN-X: Discussions in Progress Regarding Precious Metals Properties in Nevada, USA
Friday January 20, 11:08 am ET

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2006--Mr. Ed. Godin, President of EKWAN-X (OTCBB:EKWX - News) is pleased to report that discussions are in progress regarding precious metals properties in Nevada, USA.

The Lapon Canyon gold prospect in Mineral County, Nevada, held by World Ventures Inc. of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada is being evaluated as a possible joint venture opportunity. The Lapon Canyon prospect has three old historic adits and at one time produced and milled high grade vein-derived production. The property has been inactive for many years and is described in detail in a NI 43-101 compliant report filed by World Ventures Inc. (WVNTF -- BB) on both SEDAR and EDGAR data filing systems. The old workings have significant exposures of gold bearing quartz-carbonate vein material that present an attractive exploration target for the possible discovery of direct-shipping material grading better than one ounce per ton gold.

The targets are amenable to enhancement of the exploration approach by utilizing EKWAN's licensed hyper-spectral scanning technique whereby mineral signatures are mapped and evaluated using aerial survey techniques which allow for coverage of large tracts of land in a short period of time.
