gotcha - will try to stay positive and un-cute.

this company reminds of 2 specific companies. one is Trex (ticker: TWP), which makes non-wood decking alternatives (waste wood and recycled PET plastic). the other is Trus Joist, which makes engineered wood products for the housing industry form wood waste. both were "ahead of their time" and both initially struggled with product acceptance. after lots of people bashing the company and saying how the product just won't take with customers, both eventually succeeded and now have annual sale sin the hundreds of $millions. Trex trades at $26pps and Trus Joist was bought by MacBlo and then Weyerhaeuser. i think PLNI is on the same track. just needs to get peoples' minds wrapped around the idea.
