Bush and Big Oil have a great friend in Osama Bin Lauden. So long as there's terrorism in the Middle East, the prices can stay artificially high. And the more trouble Bush makes in Iraq and Iran the higher the prices will be. What would Bush do without Osama and 9-11? He'd already be a forrgotten retired ex-president famous for cheating to win in Florida 2000. Right before 9-11, the public was already getting buyer's remorse on Bush, and since DEms had control of the Senate they could have investigated the election fraud and energy gouging.
