FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SeaView sets one-day sales record: $280,800.00
ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA, Monday, September 11, 2000 —SeaView Video Technology Inc. (OTC BB: SEVU) (http://web.archive.org/web/20010116071500/http://www.sevu.com/) today announced that the Company set an all-time sales record yesterday [Sept. 7], as orders for their SecureView "camera in a light bulb" product totaled $280,800.00 in a single day.

"Order volume until now has been somewhat erratic," said Christy Mutlu, General Sales Manager. "That's typical of the start-up mode with advertising. Now, we've begun our outbound sales program, and I think you'll be seeing some million-dollar weeks."

Mutlu added: "At the end of the day yesterday, we calculated 936 units, from my outbound sales team of 10 people." The company also utilizes an inbound teleservice. A four-page direct-mail piece will launch next week to a list of 17,000 middle-school and high-school principals.

NEW "VIC" CAMERA REVEALED

SEVU Teaming Partner, New Technology Management Inc. [Oakton, VA], brought the Company a request received from the U.S. Border Patrol. The agency needed a better way to inspect vehicle undercarriages at border checkpoints. Their current equipment, a mirror device and flashlight, left much room for improvement.

The Company's R&D team received their assignment about eight weeks ago, according to Senior VP Dan Mehosky, "And we'll deliver finished products around the first of October." The VIC system utilizes the Company's patented acrylic camera pod common to nearly all SeaView products. The camera, with the same CCD technology employed by SeaView underwater designs, includes high-resolution "white" infra-red. The adjustable deployment arm allows the operator to move the camera easily under the vehicle. Mehosky quipped: "It's so detailed, you can read part numbers at night!"

"I'm an engineer by trade," he continued, "so this project was 'my baby.' We named it VIC--for 'Vehicle Inspection Camera,' and the Federal Agencies are very excited."

"We demoed the product initially to the Border Patrol and FBI last month," said National Sales Manager, Col. (USA, ret) Larry Hoffman. "It's high-tech all the way--belt-pack VCR with time and date stamp, drop-down jet-fighter style eyepiece video display. VIC will fill an urgent need with law enforcement--every bomb squad will want one. And it has a big future also in military and industrial applications."

The VIC system base price is under $4,000.00. The Company has submitted specifications for listing VIC in the GSA catalog, and will include VIC product information as part of a SecureView mailing to 12,300 law-enforcement agencies. Additional information and pictures will soon be available at web.archive.org.

CORRECTION:

In a Company press release September 6th, the 2nd Quarter sales figures were misstated at $1,900,000 due to a proofreading error. The correct figure is $1,500,000 as previously reported.
