Digitimes reports following the sequential contract price rise of an average of 5-6% in the first half of January, DRAM contract prices should enjoy a further increase of 2-3% in the second half of January, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News. Taiwan DRAM maker ProMOS Technologies is confident about the price rising and Nanaya Technology foresees DDR2 will be in shortage.
