06Q1 "Early Forecast" EPS Contest Officially Begins epscontest.com (Some specific contest pages are linked at the end of this message.) A few key items about this quarter's contest (which are also elaborated upon in the rules page linked below): NEW AMD CATEGORIES: Long story short, we're temporarily keeping the flash revenue category (as Spansion's total revenue) and we're changing the CPU revenue category to CPU Operating Income. Read more about it at the top of the rules page. FORECAST ENTRIES ROLLOVER: We are going to let all forecast entries rollover into the next competition of the same quarter so that people don't have to enter on three separate times during the quarter if they like their numbers or if they are not available during the next entry window period. Bottom line, be the first to enter and you'll have the top bonus for each following contest (unless you change your numbers) and you will already have an insurance entry for the later 2 contests this quarter. PRIZES: As mentioned in the forecast section of the rules page (link below), we will give out one shirt for the Early Forecast and one for the Mid-Q Forecast. Each shirt will go to the single best score for that competition, regardless of whether it is an AMD score or an Intel score. EARLY FORECASTS: We started the forecast competitions last quarter. This "Early Forecast" is a new contest in addition to the normal End-of-Quarter contest. We will also run a "Mid-Quarter Forecast" around the middle of the quarter. These forecast contests are very similar to our historical quarterly contest, except that you can elaborate and explain your "forecast" on the entry form (if you wish).
