It wasn't the US. It was the UN that gave Israel the right to sovereignty. At the exact same moment, they gave the Palestinians the same exact opportunity in the adjoining lands. But what did the Palestinians do? Well what does any self-respecting Muslim nowadays do? They decide to wage jihad and destroy another people instead of making a better life for themselves.
