Well, Iran is threatening an oil embargo if any steps at all are taken against them, such as bringing sanctions, if an attack occurs they will do their best to close the straits of Hormuz at the choke point and likely do all they can militarily against places like Iraq and through Hamas, Israel. Since oil is sold on forward contracts, all this is taken into account in the pricing, thus we have skyrocketing oil AGAIN. The PINHEADS that forbid us from becoming more self reliant though drilling at Anwar (home only of mesquitoes), and the environmental whackos that keep us from building more refineries, and the fear mongers that keep us from building more nuclear power plants all have contributed to the upcoming crisis we may face and to the lousy stock market we have today. jdn
