re: Perhaps. But I'd love to count the cases of Muslim discrimination against Christians and then count the cases of the reverse and compare the two numbers. I think the results would not be very surprising when you consider that Middle East Muslim ideology is rooted and hasn't grown since the 7th century, whereas Christian ideology grown over 2000 years and has been tempered by modern ideas of human rights and equality, as well as Democracy.

I have every reason to believe that Islam is a stagnant religion, whereas Christianity continues to grow and morph. In any dynamic philosophy or theology, there are always crackpots like Robertson, but the not-surprising thing about Middle East Islam is that the crackpots outnumber the sane/reasonable people. That is because Islam is stagnant and it's main leaders, the clerics, are usually uneducated demagogues.

You would probably find a higher level of Muslim discrimination against Christians, but not remarkably higher (my guess). And neither religion seems to be stagnant... both seem to be tilting towards fundamentalism. Certainly the Christians... and I have no way of knowing if fundamentalist Muslims are on the increase or decrease. There does seem to be a backlash against the fundamentalist Muslims.

Regardless, my point was there are bad guys on both sides. You shouldn't dramatically demonize one side without looking inward.
