We may be defining the word differently. I'm talking about neo ideals of US world dominance for this century... salted with fundamental religious Dogma that gives moral authority for any action.

We had made some pretty steady progress in the world, since WWII, with a good group of pragmatic Presidents. You can say that all changed in one day, by one event, 9/11. I believe it was all changed by our response to 9/11, and that sits squarely with this admin.

Regardless, I think we can both agree that the world is now getting more dangerous, not less dangerous. And we can agree that our oil gluttony is a major enabler of that trend.

You would think that a leader of this country... with our prosperity and safety in his hands, would see and act on the same info that is so obvious to both of us. But it appears that the safety and prosperity of this country are a secondary concern. There is another agenda this admin is pursuing. They are not pragmatists, they have an idealist mission.
