Oil is the lifeblood of this country... and look what happened with the mere mention of an embargo--- futures.tradingcharts.com Iran is moving around it's cash... they have a lot in the bank and could weather a disruption in selling oil. Would other OPEC countries go along? A true OPEC oil embargo would turn the world to an economic tailspin... and the true seat of power would be revealed. It's an easy problem to solve... and would have MANY side economic benefits. But we whistle past the graveyard.
