<Please explain how we go from a capitalist labor based society to one in which all goods are provided by IT? I.E. the transition time when IT isn't complete, bit his predecessors are replacing most human labor. The idea that we will mutually scratch each others backs for a living just doesn't hold water.>
Just as we've been doing for hundreds of years. More of the same. Of course we don't just scratch backs, we also make coffee, sell shoes, do life-coaching, play golf, make movies, and a million other things which people will pay for.
I can right now hire a whole lot of people, but the government is paying them too much to sit around doing nothing. So they play golf themselves, on the taxpayer's tab, instead of caddying for me for a more reasonable fee. My lawns need mowing, house painting, back massaging and so on.
There is no sign of a jobs shortage. On the contrary, in NZ there is record low unemployment. Around the world, more people are gainfully employed than at any time in history and GDP per global capita is at an all-time high.
