I am very curious about MMonday given drop in stock maret Friday. High oil means a possible softening of the economy, however gold usually follows oil. And any softeneing would demand lower interest rates no matter what (like inflation)?

My gut feeling is that this is 1980 based on demand and uncertainty, neither of which I see going away.
