According to the last comment from Ericsson on the agreement between them and QCOM it was a basically "closed wallet deal".This comment came a couple of months ago after they sued QCOM.Before that they have kept quiet about the deal for many years.QCOM is normally very quick to respond on false comments but I haven't heard any comments from them about Ericsson on this issue.I guess other companies that also are very quiet about the deals are happy about their deals. The reason why we know that TI has a good deal is that TI and QCOM sued each other. What about all the other companies. We really don't know what deals they have .Do we?
It's of course in QCOM interest to get out the impression that everybody pays about 5%.
