My home in Toronto mis worth almost exactly what it was 15 years ago during the last bubble... My property taxes are reasonable re: 10 years ago.. as taxes go... food with smart shopping is a bargain..... They are looking at further subsidizing education in Canada... BTW my 13 year old is basically paid for in her education plan through a Masters degree if she stays up here... (including board) and my 6 year old is good to go for a bachelors :o)

Sure energy is going up ...up a lot.. my natural gas is locked in on contract for 5 years... @ about 7$ NG... HEalthcare premiums always go up and so do drugs... beyond that and gas for the cars I do not see rampant price inflation.... I'm in Canada but I doubt it can all be explained away by the Loonie's appreciation...

Walmart is expanding more into groceries up here... Competition is increasing... where will prices head ?

Maybe savers always win ?
