My guess is word is leaking out that the company will at least meet earnings in 3-Q. Steve: CRNR broke below 7 for the first time in quite awhile on 6/16/97. This was followed by the pre-announcement of an earnings disappointment at the end of June or early July, which dropped the stock into the 5's. I think the MM's knew what was coming. Also, I think there were some insider sales the middle of that quarter. Maybe the lack of bad news filtering out, no apparent insider sales, the recent poison pill, general market trends, and somebody finally factoring the value of CRNR's proprietary software into the stock price has produced this upward trend. I have been long this stock up to 15 months, so I might as well stick around a bit longer.
