"The bulk of gold mineralization at the Busang gold deposit of Bre-x Minerals in Indonesia is contained in multiple stage hydrofractures, as seen in this exposure of the Southeast gold zone" (Northern Miner, Exploration, pg. B1.
Good Morning kids. Any sight of our gold yet?
Hi Lalit, your post like all your others are well thought out and make a lot o sense. But its hard to keep the faith when we are being mercilessy clobbered like this.
I am looking at a copy of the reputable Northern Miner dated March 10, 1997. In a special section entitled "Exploration," pg. B1, there is a 10cmx15cm colour picture with the caption, "The bulk of gold mineralization at the Busang gold deposit of Bre-x Minerals in Indonesia is contained in multiple stage hydrofractures, as seen in this exposure of the Southeast gold zone." THE GOLD IS PLAINLY VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE. LOTS OF IT. Because of its erratic "stratification" (I am using this term in a layman sense) throughout the "rock" two drill holes one foot apart could, and very likely would, result in DRAMATIC DIFFERENCES. Even to a layman like me it is plainly clear that 7 holes in terrain like this prove nothing. You would have to drill the area as Bre-x did, "like swiss cheese," to get any idea of what is really underneath the ground. Maybe 100 holes might prove something? Any statisticians aboard the good ship lolly-pop?
Everyone, get a copy of the publication and look at it for yourselves.
