Seems to me, China is looking after China, same as any nation looks after its interests. I dont see anything ominious here, except we would be SMART to start a serious program of alternative energy sources. The easiest thing for the interim would be to increase Nuclear Power Plants and drill in Alaska and the Gulf for more of our own resources, but in the long term we must wean ourselves ENTIRELY of non renewable energy sources. Can anyone imagin how much DIFFERENT our foreign policy could be if we did not have to concern ourselves about foreign sources for energy? jdn
