Gas mileage standards basically are raising now as the industry is able to establish methods to do it. Taxing gasoline even more then it is now merely means you would like to do away with heavier vehicles and lay the burden on the poorer people of our nation. I dont like either as a means to accomplish a goal. I would support REQUIRING all new vehicles to be able to burn bio fuels. This is less then a $300 cost and probably a LOT less when done on a mass basis. jdn
