Apology to JCP, re: I think what we need to do is re-engage with the Russian in a very public effort of shrinking our own nuclear arsenals of 10k nukes apiece. That would give us the credibility to do a clamp-down on new and wanna-be members of the nuclear club. We also need to invlove players like Israel, Pakistan, Britian, India and China who, due to our massive arsenals, can't even be ASKED to draw down.

That's unspecific and unless you naively believe that Iran will suddenly decide not seek nukes if we destroy a few of ours then ineffective.
