16:03 KLAC KLA-Tencor withdraws offer for August Technology (51.77 +0.15) Co annoucnes it has withdrawn its February 2005 offer to acquire August Technology (AUGT) for $11.50 per share in cash. The co noted its disappointment that the two companies were unable to enter into substantive discussions and reach a final agreement.
