LOL Actually I started rooting for them before they were a team. I lived in Spartanburg, and the guy who owns the Panthers lives there. The governor of SC tried to get him to put the team on the border of SC & NC, but he said it had to be in a large city...so Charlotte got the team and Spartanburg got the practice at least for a while..
