They made sense, and they saved lives. I had not realized just how many young children had died from getting in to aspirin, and other non-child proof medicines- I knew it was big, but not HOW big. That was pretty amazing data. Ditto for the carseat data. Anyone nostalgic for the old kinds of caps, is nostalgic for children's deaths- that's the reality. It's down right stupid to mention it as part of "the good old days."
