I think many deflationists also overlook rising cost of infrastucture and other necessary pass throughs like RE taxes and insurance that businesses must absorb to stay open. Bankrupt federal government passes more and more of the burden on the states to raise tax revenue. As we know they don't have limitless borrowing potential or ability to print money..
