I think the gun control issue is a proverbial dead horse. There's really nothing more to be done about it. It has reached a certain stasis and it isn't going anywhere. The only active issue is carry laws. The gun control folks aren't going to get any more guns off the streets and the NRA isn't going to get legal bazookas. So here we are. We have to live with what we have.
