FWIW, Richnorth asked me in advance about posting that last night, and after I consulted the entire chapter of the book of ester, I realized that if the iranians today are using it as their justification for the mass slaughter of jews today, then it is a curent topic and is a part of the war on terror, so I gave the go ahead.
