$3.00/gallon gasoline will be very bad for a lot of working people, including myself. But it is a necessary burden if it will force us to explore alternatives to the current madness known as our national energy policy.

$3.00/gallon gasoline does seem to be the threshold that creates a backlash from the public. If it lasts for months this summer. There will be a strong reaction.

Chavez will probably tell the U.S. to kiss his ass soon. How much longer will he have to sell to the U.S.? As demand for oil grows he will have plenty of customers, and can tell the U.S. to find its oil elsewhere.
