I am a new investor in W-J and I'm very excited about the prospects. The fact that W-J has sold (in the process of) the defense business suggest the company is making a very serious change of direction.

W-J will be left in two businesses that I believe are quit explosive:

Semiconductor Equipment - This group is in a longterm up swing that will not peak until at least YE2000. W-J position seems solid, with the added potential to move into metal dielectric insulators.

Wireless Communication Systems - This area has the potential for fast growth as far as the eye can see. W-J is uniquely positioned with its own GaAs fab, system and software capability. I espeically hope to see capital investment and growth in the GaAs fabrication.

I view that whole Wireless group like a venture start-up that is extremely well capitallized with deeply experiences people.

Add to this the fact that Small Cap stocks are getting some much deserved attention, and I see a great stock!!
