It was a country from which assassins were dispatched to kill Lawrence Foley. A country which tried to assassinate a former US President. A country which harbored the man who made the explosive used in the first attempt to bring down the WTC.

Good afterthoughts. At the time the troops marched in, the nation was told that it was because Iraq possessed WMD, that the Iraq intelligence met secretly with Mohammed Atta etc.

Did he do that secretly as BUsh did the eavesdropping. He claims he did not do anything illegal since "he kept Congress in the loop." Wonder when he took the pains to keep Congress in the loop and not the FISA. Why did he not keep the police chief of Anytown USA in the loop also along with some members of the Congress?
